PENERAPAN TEKNIK TUTOR SEBAYA GUNA MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII-1 SMP LABORATORIUM UNDIKSHA

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling (Action Research In Counseling) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus II dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui minat belajar yang dialami oleh siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Lab Undiksha Singaraja dan untuk mengetahui keefektivan teknik tutor sebaya guna meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Lab Undiksha Singaraja. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah berupa pedoman observasi sebagai alat pengumpulan data pendukung dan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar setelah diberikan bimbingan belajar melalui tutor sebaya. Hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan minat belajar yang diperoleh siswa setelah diberikan tindakan. Peningkatan minat belajar dilihat dari pencapaian minat belajar yaitu dari skor rata-rata 42,77% menjadi 54,90% pada siklus I dan peningkatan skor rata-rata 54,90% menjadi 73% pada siklus II. Kesebelas siswa yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar telah menunjukkan skor minat belajar ≥ 65%. Ini membuktikan bahwa bimbingan belajar melalui tutor sebaya apat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa inggris. Kesimpulannya bahwa bimbingan belajar melalui utor sebaya efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswaKata Kunci : Tutor Sebaya, Minat Belajar
This research is a counseling action (Action Research in Counseling) done in two cycles, the first cycle and second cycle in order to determine the interest in learning experienced by the students of class VIII-1 junior Lab UNDIKSHA Singaraja and to determine the effectiveness of peer tutoring engineering in order to increase the interest of students of class VIII-1 junior Lab UNDIKSHA Singaraja. Data collection methods used were in the form of the observation as a means of supporting data collection and questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The results showed an increased interest in learning after a given a tutoring through peer tutoring. It is seen from the increase in students' learning interest acquired after the given action. Improving learning achievement of learning interest seen from that of an average score of 42.77% to 54.90% in the first cycle and an increase in the average score of 54.90% to 73% in the second cycle. The eleven students who take tutoring have shown interest in learning the score of ≥ 65%. This proves that the tutoring through peer tutoring apat increase student interest in the subject of English. The conclusion that peer tutoring through utor effectively used to increase student interest.
