EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF DENGAN TEKNIK KONFRONTASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF CONTROL DALAM BELAJAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling Rasional Emotif dengan teknik Konfrontasi untuk meningkatkan Self Control dalam belajar pada siswa kelas XI IIS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IIS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan dengan jumlah 23 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian adalah sebanyak 4 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling Rasional Emotif dengan teknik Konfrontasi efektif meninggkatkan Self Control siswa dalam belajar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis t-test yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung>ttabel (11,7157 > 3,182), N=4 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%.Kata Kunci : Konseling Rasional Emotif, Self Control
The aimed of this research was to know the effectiveness of Rational Emotive counseling with confrontation technique to improved Self Control in learning of the students in grade XI IIS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. This research was a pre-experiment research with used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this research are the students in grade XI IIS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan, Amount of 23 students. The technique was used to take the sample was purposive sampling technique. The number of sampel in this research were 4 students. The data collection in this research was used Questionnaire. The data anlyzed by statistic t-test. The results showed that Rational Emotive counseling through confrontation technique effective to improve students’ Self Control in learning. It can be seen from the result of t-test analysis that showed the score of thitung>ttabel (11,7157 > 3,182), N=4 with 5% significance level.
