PENERAPAN TEKNIK REINFORCEMENT DALAM KONSELING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII A2 DI SMP NEGERI 2 SAWAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas teknik reinforcement untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIIIA2 SMPN 2 Sawan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling. Prosedur penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, konseling/treatment, evaluasi/follow up, dan refleksi. Treatment diberikan sebanyak 3 kali pada masing-masing siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa kelas VIIIA2 SMPN 2 Sawan pada mata pelajaran yang di UN-kan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pencatatan dokumen, observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh dari responden diolah dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis pada siklus I menunjukkan dari 4 orang siswa, 2 orang siswa sudah meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 53 menjadi 73, sedangkan 2 orang siswa belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan sehingga perlu untuk melanjutkan treatment ke siklus II. Pada siklus II pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 59 menjadi 73. Jadi, 4 orang siswa yang dijadikan subjek penelitian sudah mencapai ketuntasan yang ditentukan karena skor telah melebihi nilai KKM. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik reinforcement dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar bagi siswa yang mengalami prestasi belajar rendah.Kata Kunci : Teknik Reinforcement, Prestasi Belajar.
The purpose of this research is to efectivitas reinforcement technique for improve students learning achievment in grade VIII A2 in SMPN 2 Sawan shool year 2013/2014. The reseach used is action reseach counseling. Reseach procedures conducted in two cycles. every cycle consisted of identification, diagnose, prognose, counseling or traetment,evaluation or follow up, and reflection. The treatment was given three times in every cycle. The subject of this reseach were for students of VIII A2 SMP N 2 Sawan in subject national tested. The method of colecting data used in this reseach were documentation, observation and interview. The data taken for the responden were nalysed by using deskriptif analysed. The result of data in first cycle from four student. Two student have increased from 53 to 57, based on the result above, there are two student can’t achive the criteria, so the treatment in second cycle is needed. In the second the learning achivment of students getting increased from 59 to 73. So that, those four students can achiev the criteria as they can get score has exceeded from minimum completeness criteria. It can be concluded that reinforcement technique can improve the learning achievment of student.
