EFEKTIFITAS MODEL KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF UNTUK MEREDUKSI SIFAT EGOISME PADA SISWA KELAS X IIS DI SMA NEGERI 1 SINGARAJATAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model konseling rasional emotif dalam mereduksi sifat egoisme pada siswa kelas X IIS di SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian One-Shot Case Study Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 7 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode “simple random sampling” yaitu dengan melakukan lotre (undian) bilangan random berdasarkan nomor absen siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dilengkapi observasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistic t-test yang dibandingkan dengan (μ) berdasarkan Criterium Reference (CR). Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa model konseling rasional emotif efektif untuk mereduksi sifat egoisme pada siswa kelas X IIS di SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Ini terlihat dari hasil analis t-hitung = 15,77 dan t-tabel dengan df (db) = 6 dan taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 1,943, sehingga diperoleh perbandingan t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (15,77 > 1,943). Jadi hipotesis nol (0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) yang berbunyi “Efektifitas model konseling rasional emotif untuk mereduksi sifat egoisme pada siswa kelas X IIS di SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja” diterima. Dari hasil penelitian diharapkan siswa dapat terus mereduksi (mengurangi) sifat egoismenya sehingga lebih menghargai orang lain yang ada di sekitarnya.Kata Kunci : mereduksi, egoisme.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the model of rational emotive counseling in reducing egoism in class X SMA Negeri 1 IIS in Singaraja academic year 2014/2015. This research is experimental research design One-Shot Case Study Design. The sample was 7 students. Sampling was done by the method of "random sampling" is to do lottery (lottery) random numbers based on the number of students absent. Methods of data collection using questionnaires that include observation. Results of the study were analyzed by using t-test statistical analysis that compared with (μ) based Criterium Reference (CR). Based on the analysis, it was found that the model of rational emotive counseling is effective for reducing egoism in class X IIS at SMAN 1 Singaraja. This is evident from the results of analyst t-count = 15.77 and t-table with df (db) = 6 and 5% significance level was 1.943, so the comparison of the t-test bigger than t-table (15.77> 1.943) , So the hypothesis of zero (0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which reads "The effectiveness of the model of rational emotive counseling to reduce egoism in class X IIS at SMAN 1 Singaraja" acceptable. From the research results students are expected to continue to reduce (reduce) the nature of egotism thus better appreciate other people around him.
