PENERAPAN TEORI KONSELING GESTALT DENGAN TEKNIK KURSI KOSONG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ABASEMENT SISWA KELAS VIII A 2 SMP NEGERI 1 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan teori konseling Gestalt dengan teknik kursi kosong untuk meningkatkan abasement siswa kelas VIII A2 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling (Action Research In Counseling) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, yang masing-masing siklus mencakup rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan teori konseling Gestalt dengan teknik kursi kosong untuk meningkatkan abasement siswa kelas VIII A2 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data utama serta observasi dan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpulan data pendukung. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan abasement setelah diberikan teori Gestalt dengan teknik kursi kosong. Hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan abasement yang diperoleh siswa setelah diberikan tindakan. Peningkatan abasement dilihat dari pencapaian abasement yaitu dari skor rata-rata 55,5 menjadi 78,83 dan masih berada di katagori rendah hal ini disebabkan karena kurang adanya keseriusan siswa dalam mengikuti bimbingan. Pada siklus II presentase peningkatan 96, hal ini dikarenakan siswa lebih serius dalam mengikuti bimbingan. Keempat siswa yang mengikuti konseling individual telah menunjukan skor ≥ 111. Ini membuktikan bahwa teori konseling Gestalt dengan teknik kursi kosong efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan abasement siswa.Kata Kunci : Teori Konseling Gestalt, Teknik Kursi Kosong, Abasement
The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of Gestalt counseling theorywith the empty chair technique to improve abasement grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 A2Singaraja. This research is the research guidance counseling action (Action Research InCounseling) is done in two cycles, each cycle includes a plan of action, the implementation of action, evaluation and reflection. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of Gestalt counseling theorywith the empty chair technique to improve abasement grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 A2Singaraja. Methods of data collection used was a questionnaire as a tool of the maindata collection and observation and interviews as a tool supporting data collection.The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Results of the study showed an increase in abasement Gestalt theory after being givenwith the empty chair technique. It is seen from the increase of abasement gainedstudents after the given action. Improvement of abasement as seen from the achievement score abasement of the median score rata 55,5 into 78,83 and still be in the categories are. This is because the lack of seriousness of the student in following the guidance. Cycle II increased an average score of 96, this is because students aremore serious in following the guidance. The four students who follow individualcounseling proves score ≥ 111. This proves that the theory of gestalt counseling withtechniques of empty seats effectively used to increase student abasement.
