PENERAPAN KONSELING EKSISTENSIAL HUMANISTIK DENGAN TEKNIK RELAKSASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF EXHIBITION SISWA KELAS VIII.10 SMP NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan (Action Research In Counseling) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan self exhibition siswa kelas VIII.10 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja setelah dilaksanakan penerapan konseling eksistensial humanistik dengan teknik relaksasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 siklus dimana masing-masing siklus melalui tahap identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, konseling/treatment, evaluasi/follow up, dan refleksi. Proses pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner self exhibition pola skala linkert dan dianalisis secara deskriptif serta menggunakan buku harian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa kategori self exhibition siswa pada siklus I sampai siklus 3 adalah katagori sangat rendah 10 orang (25%), sedang 11 orang (28%), kategori tinggi 14(35%) orang, dan kategori sangat tinggi 4 orang (10%), . Jika dibandingkan dengan kategori skor self exhibition siswa pada siklus IV sebagai berikut siswa dengan kategori sangat tinggi 35 orang (89%), kategori tinggi 4 orang (10%) dan tidak ada siswa yang memiliki kategori sangat rendah, rendah, dan sedang. Ini menunjukkan sudah ada peningkatan secara signifikan. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa konseling eksistensial humanistik dengan teknik relaksasi efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan self exhibition siswa kelas VIII.10 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : konseling eksistensial humanistik, teknik relaksasi, self exhibition.
This study is an action research (Action Research In Counseling) which aims to determine the increase in self exhibition VIII.10 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja after application implemented humanistic existential counseling with relaxation techniques. The subjects were grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. The study consisted of four cycles in which each cycle through the stages of identification, diagnosis, prognosis, counseling / treatment, evaluation / follow-up, and reflection. The retrieval of data in this study using a questionnaire self exhibition linkert scale patterns and analyzed descriptively and using a diary. Based on the analysis, it was found that the category of self-exhibition of students in the first cycle to cycle 3 is very low category of 10 people (25%), while 11 (28%), high category 14 (35%) of people, and the very high category 4 people (10%). When compared with the scores of self exhibition categories of students in cycle IV the following students with very high category 35 people (89%), high category four people (10%) and no student who has a category of very low, low, and medium. It shows already a significant improvement. So it can be concluded that the humanistic existential counseling with an effective relaxation technique used to improve self exhibition VIII.10 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja.
