PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK MODELING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ADVERSITY QUOTIENT SISWA KELAS X 7 DI SMA NEGERI 1 SERIRIT TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan adversity quotient pada siswa kelas X 7 di SMA Negeri 1 Seririt tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 setelah diterapkan konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, treatmen, evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X 7 berjumlah 31 orang, yang terdiri dari 11 orang laki-laki dan 20 orang perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuesioner dari Stoltz, observasi dan wawancara. Deskripsi data yang diperoleh akan di analisis dengan metode tertentu, yakni dengan menjumlahkan skor dari masing-masing dimensi, sehingga diperoleh skor adversity quotient. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 31 orang siswa, terdapat sembilan orang siswa yang menunjukkan adversity quotient rendah. Pencapaian peningkatan adversity quotient siswa pada siklus I terhadap sembilan orang, yaitu dari skor rata-rata 88,5 meningkat menjadi 135,7. Rata-rata peningkatannya adalah 47,2. Pada siklus II diberikan kembali konseling kelompok kepada sembilan orang siswa. Di siklus II, terlihat peningkatan skor terhadap sembilan siswa tersebut yang awalnya memiliki rata-rata 135,7 mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 143,7 atau dapat dikatakan telah mampu melampaui target yang ditetapkan, yakni dengan skor 135. Rata-rata peningkatan skor dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 8. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling dapat meningkatkan adversity quotient siswa kelas X 7 di SMA Negeri 1 Seririt Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : adversity quotient, teknik modeling, konseling behavioral.
This research aims to know the adversity quotient increased grade student X 7 SMA Negeri 1 Seririt school year 2014/2015 after applying behavioral counseling with modeling techniques. This research consists of two cycles, there are identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatmen, evaluation and reflection. The subject in this research are the class X 7. The total of the subject are 31 student, consist of 11 men and 20 women. Method of data collection used questionnaires from Stoltz, observation and interview. Description of the data obtained will be analyzed by using certain method, by summing the scores of each dimension then total them, to get the obtained score adversity quotient. The results of this research showed that the 31 students, there was 9 students who showed low adversity quotient. The achievement of increasing of students adversity quotient in cycle I to nine students, was from average score 88,5 increases to 135,7. The average of increasement 47,2. In cycle II, was given again group counseling to nine students. In cycle II, it showed the increasement of the score of nine students who had average 135,7 increased to be average of 143,7 or it can be said the had been succesfull axceed the target skor 135. The average score of achievement from cycle I to cycle II was 8. Based on this research can be concluded that the application of behavioral counseling by using modeling techniques can increase the adversity quotient of students class X 7 SMA Negeri 1 Seririt in academic year 2014/2015.
