PENERAPAN KONSELING RATIONAL-EMOTIF BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK REFRAMING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ADVERSITY QOUTIENT SISWA KELAS IX A7 SMP NEGERI 1 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan konseling rational-emotif behavioral dengan teknik reframing untuk meningkatkan adversity quotient siswa pada siswa kelas IX A7 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling, yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari enam tahap yaitu tahap identifikasi, diagnosis, prognosis, konseling, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 12 orang siswa di kelas IX A7 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Untuk mengumpulkan data, digunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner serta didukung dengan pedoman observasi sebagai alat pengumpulan data komplementer. Data yang diperoleh dari responden dikumpulkan dan dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan adversity quotient siswa dari skor rata – rata 85,83 setelah dilaksanakan tindakan siklus I pencapaian adversity quotient meningkat menjadi 135,83. Selanjutnya setelah tindakan siklus II dilakukan, pencapaian adversity quotient siswa mencapai 141,75. Dua belas siswa yang mendapatkan tindakan konseling rational-emotif behavioral dengan teknik reframing telah mampu memperoleh skor adversity quotient lebih ≥ 135. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa konseling rational-emotif behavioral dengan teknik reframing dapat meningkatkan adversity quotient siswa.Kata Kunci : konseling rational-emotif behavioral, reframing, adversity quotient
This study aims to know the application of rational-emotive behavioral technique with reframing technique to improve students’ adversity quotient to students of A7 in Ninth Grade in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja academic year 2014/2015. Type of this research is counseling guidance action research, which is done in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 6 steps, such as identification, diagnosis, prognosis, counseling, evacuation and reflection. Subject in the research is 12 students in IX A7 in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. To collect data, be used instrument of collecting data like questionnaire and supported with observation orientation as instrument of complimentary data collecting. Data which is gotten from respondent is collected and analyzed with quantitative descriptive technique. The result of research show raising of students’ adversity quotient from average score 85,83. After doing action of cycle I attainment of students’ adversity quotient raise become 135,83. Next, after action of cycle II is done, attainment of students’ adversity quotient is 141,75. Twelve students which are get action of behavior rational-emotive counseling with reframing technique have able to get more adversity quotient score ≥ 135. Based on the result of the research, it can conclude that behavior rational-emotive counseling with reframing technique able to improve students’ adversity quotient
