PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK LATIHAN ASERTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN DISIPLIN BELAJAR SISWA DI KELAS VIII A SMP NEGERI 1 SERIRIT TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan disiplin belajar siswa setelah diberikan konseling Behavioral dengan teknik latihan asertif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling (Action Reseach In Counseling) yang terdiri atas dua siklus, dan masing-masing siklus dirancang dalam 3 pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu dari siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Seririt yang berjumlah 8 orang dari 32 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam peneitian ini yaitu metode kuesioner dan metode pendukung berupa metode observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif yaitu dengan cara membandingkan persentase skor yang dicapai sebelum dan sesudah diberikan tindakan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan disiplin belajar pada siswa. Peningkatan yang terjadi yaitu dilihat dari skor awal rata-rata 55,5%, setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan skor rata-rata 66,7% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 82%. Dari 8 orang siswa yang mendapatkan tindakan pada siklus I, ada 5 orang siswa yang persentase skornya masih dibawah 70%. Setelah melakukan siklus II, kedelapan siswa sudah mampu meningkatkan disiplin belajarnya, yaitu dengan persentase skor ≥70%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan konseling Behavioral dengan teknik latihan asertif dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa.Kata Kunci : konseling Behavioral, latihan asertif, disiplin belajar
The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning discipline after being given counseling Behavioral techniques assertiveness training. This type of research is an action research counseling (Action Reseach In Counseling) consisting of two cycles, and each cycle is designed in three meetings. Subjects in this study is of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Seririt which amounts to 8 people out of 32 students. Data collection methods used in this peneitian the method of questionnaires and methods of support in the form of observation. Data were analyzed descriptively ie by comparing the percentage score achieved before and after the action. The results in this study showed an increase in the discipline of learning in students. A spike that can be seen from the initial score average of 55.5%, after a given action on the first cycle increased an average score of 66.7% and in the second cycle increased to 82%. Of the 8 students who get to the action on the first cycle, there are 5 people the percentage of students who score is still below 70%. After performing the second cycle, the eight students have been able to improve the discipline of learning, ie with a percentage score of ≥70%. This proves that the application of behavioral counseling with assertiveness training technique can enhance students' learning discipline.
