PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK MODELING (SYMBOLIC MODEL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF ENDURANCE SISWA KELAS X 2 DI SMA NEGERI 1 SERIRIT TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah teori konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling (symbolic model) untuk dapat meningkatkan self endurance pada siswa kelas X 2 SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X 2 SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 siklus dimana masing-masing siklus melalui tahap identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, konseling/treatment/planing, evaluasi/follow-up dan modeling (symbolic model). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode 1) observasi, 2) menjalankan siklus I,II,III,IV, 3) Penyebaran Buku Harian, 4) tes kuesioner. Data yang didapatkan dari metode kuesioner selanjutnya dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh kategori kurangnya self endurance pada diri siswa pada siklus I dari 29 siswa, 16 orang yang di kategorikan rendah . Jika dibandingkan dengan kategori kurangnya self endurance pada diri siswa, pada siklus IV dari 16 jumlah siswa di tingkatkan menjadi 2 siswa,ini berarti sudah ada peningkatan secara signifikan, ini membuktikan bahwa hipotesis dapat diterima. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa dalam upaya meningkatkan self endurance pada diri siswa, guru BK dan guru mata pelajaran perlu memperhatikan hasil penelitian ini sehingga pemanfaatan teori konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling (symbolic model) dapat dijadikan salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan self endurance pada siswa.Kata Kunci : Teori Behavioral, Modeling (Symbolic Model), Self Endurance.
This research aimed to know whether behavioral counselling theory and modeling (symbolic model) could improve self endurance of X 2 students at SMAN 1 Seririt. The subject of this reserach was X 2 students at SMAN 1. There were four cycles in this reserach by mean of identification phase, diagnose, prognosa, counseling/treatment/planning, evaluation/follow-up and modeling (symbolic model). Data accumulation in this research had been done by using four methods, namely (1) observation, (2) cycles I,II,III,IV, (3) diaries, (4) questionnaire. The data from questionnaire then analyzed by using descriptive analysis method. Based on analysis result, there was student’s lack of self endurance in cycle I which was from 29 students, 16 of them were in low category. When it was compare to student’s self endurance at the last cycle which was in cycle IV there was improvement from 16 students in low category became 2 students. It was mean that there was significant improvement and the hypothesis could be accepted. The implications in this research was in improving student’s self endurance inclination, BK’s teacher and the other teacher in diffrent subject needed to pay attention on this research’s result so that modeling (symbolik model) could be beneficial to improve student’s self endurance.
