PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN STRATEGI SELF-MANAGEMENT MODEL CORMIER AND CORMIER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN DISIPLIN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII H SMP NEGERI 1 SERIRIT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas disiplin belajar pada siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 1 Seririt setelah diterapkan konseling behavioral dengan teknik self-management. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, treatmen, evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII H berjumlah 36 orang, yang terdiri dari 16 orang laki-laki dan 20 orang perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuesioner , observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 36 orang siswa, terdapat enam orang siswa yang menunjukkan disiplin belajar rendah. Pencapaian peningkatan disiplin belajar siswa pada siklus I terhadap sembilan orang, yaitu dari skor rata-rata 78,8 meningkat menjadi 111. Rata-rata peningkatannya adalah 47,2. Pada siklus II diberikan kembali konseling kelompok kepada sembilan orang siswa. Di siklus II, terlihat peningkatan skor terhadap sembilan siswa tersebut yang awalnya memiliki rata-rata 111 mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 135 atau dapat dikatakan telah mampu melampaui target yang ditetapkan, yakni dengan skor 123. Rata-rata peningkatan skor dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 8. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik self-management dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 1 SeriritKata Kunci : Konseling behavioral, teknik self-management, disiplin belajar
This research aims to know the effectiveness of the discipline of learning in students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Seririt H after applied behavioral counseling with self-help management techniques. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of the identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatmen, evaluation and reflection. The subject in this study is grade VIII H totalling 36 persons, comprising 16 men and 20 women. Method of data collection in this study by using questionnaires, observation and interview. The results showed that out of the 36 students, there were six students who demonstrate low learning discipline. The achievement of improved student learning in the disciplines of cycle I against nine people, from an average score of 78,8 increased to 111. The average is nearly a 47,2. In cycle II, group counselling given back to nine students. In cycle II, seen an increase in score against nine students who initially had an average of 111 has increased by an average of 135 or can be said to have been able to go beyond the targets set, i.e. with a score of 123. The average increase in the score from cycle to cycle II I was 8. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of behavioral counseling with self-help management techniques can improve the discipline of studying grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 H Seririt
