PENERAPAN TEORI KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK ASERTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF DEFERENCE PADA SISWA KELAS VIII.A1 SMP NEGERI 4 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan self deference siswa kelas VIII.A1 SMPN 4. Singaraja setelah diterapkan teori konseling behavioral dengan teknik asertif. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan Bimbingan Konseling (Action Research In Counseling). Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 25 orang siswa kelas VIII.A1 SMP N 4 Singaraja. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 siklus dimana masing-masing siklus melalui tahap identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, treatment, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Proses pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, buku harian dan kuesioner Self Deference pola skala linkert dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan skor self deference pada siswa kelas VIII.A1 setelah dilakukan treatment pada siklus I bimbingan klasikal yaitu terjadi peningkatan sebesar (69,06%), siklus II bimbingan kelompok sebesar (73,33%), siklus III konseling kelompok sebesar (77,26%) , dan siklus IV konseling individu sebesar (81,06%). Dari hasil tindakan siklus I, II, dan III menunjukkan peningkatan self deference siswa dari kategori rendah menjadi sedang dan tinggi, dan setelah pemberian tindakan siklus IV self deference siswa meningkat dari kategori sedang menjadi tinggi dan sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik asertif dapat meningkatkan self deference siswa kelas VIII.A1 SMP NEGERI 4 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : Konseling behavioral, asertif, self deference
The study aims to determined self deference enhancement students of VIII.A1 SMPN 4 Singaraja after the application of Behaviorals counseling conducted by the asertif techniques.This Study consisted of action reseach in counseling which Subjects of this study as many as 25 high school students of class VIII.A1 SMPN 4 Singaraja. The study consisted of four cycles in which each cycle through the stages of identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation, and reflection. The retrieval of data in this study used the method of observation, interviews, diaries and questionnaires Self Deference linkert scale patterns and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that an increase in self deference scores in class VIII.A1 after treatment in the first cycle of classical guidance that is an increase of (69.06%), second cycle of group guidance (73.33%), third cycle group counseling for (77.26%), and individual counseling for the fourth cycle (81.06%). From the results of the cycle of action I, II, and III showed an increase in student deference from the category of low to medium and high, and after the act of the IV cycle of increased student deference of the moderate category into high and very high. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of counseling theory of behaviorals by used asertif techniques can increase deference on students in class VIII.A1 SMPN 4 Singaraja.
