E-Book Berbasis Problem Based Learning Mampu Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas V Pada IPAS

Students' critical thinking abilities are relatively low due to a lack of innovation in learning strategies. This problem can be overcome by innovative teaching materials such as e-books while still prioritizing student activity. This research aims to develop an innovative PBL-based e-book product to improve students' critical thinking skills. This research is of the research and development (R&D) type and applies ADDIE as a development model. Data was obtained using non-test questionnaire methods and multiple-choice tests, which had been tested for feasibility. Data were analyzed using the Gregory formula and correlated t-test, so this research used a one-group pretest-posttest model. The results of data analysis obtained by material experts obtained a score of 93.74 with very good qualifications. The learning media expert obtained a score of 92.70 with very good qualifications. The teacher's practical results obtained a score of 90.25 with very good qualifications. Practicality was obtained by teachers with a score of 95.41 with very good qualifications. The results of the effectiveness test show that the product greatly influences students' critical thinking abilities. It was concluded that the E-Book Based on Problem-Based Learning received the title of being feasible, practical, and effective in influencing critical thinking skills in the fifth-grade elementary school science and science subjects. This research has implications for educational progress because it contributes to creating innovative teaching materials that directly impact students during learning, not just critical thinking.
