PENGARUH PELATIHAN SIRKUIT DAN KONTINYU INTENSITAS RENDAH TERHADAP DAYA TAHAN KARDIOVASKULER PADA SISWA PUTRA KELAS VIII SMPN 2 NUSA PENIDA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan sirkuit dan kontinyu intensitas rendah terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskuler. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen sungguhan dengan rancangan the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa putra kelas VIII SMPN 2 Nusa Penida tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 108 orang dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 27 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Daya tahan kardiovaskuler diukur dengan Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). Hasil analisis data menunjukan adanya perubahan nilai rata-rata pada variabel daya tahan kardiovaskuler. Pada kelompok pelatihan sirkuit terjadi peningkatan sebesar 3,26 ml/kg/min, pada kelompok pelatihan kontinyu intensitas rendah terjadi peningkatan sebesar 5,79ml/kg/min dan pada kelompok kontrol terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,47ml/kg/min. Hasil uji-t independent terhadap daya tahan kardiovaskuler diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,282 dan 4,232 dengan Signifikansi 0,037 dan 0,001 yang berarti pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskuler. Hasil uji One Way Anova variabel daya tahan kardiovaskuler antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol didapat F hitung sebesar 8,347 dengan Signifikansi 0,002 yang berarti ada perbedaan pengaruh antara pelatihan sirkuit dan kontinyu intensitas rendah terhadap daya tahan kardiovaskuler. Berdasarkan hasil uji LSD, maka kelompok pelatihan kontinyu intensitas rendah lebih baik pengaruhnya dibandingkan pelatihan sirkuit terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskuler sebesar 2,40000. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa; (1) pelatihan sirkuit dan kontinyu intensitas rendah berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskuler (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan sirkuit dan kontinyu intensitas rendah terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskuler dimana pelatihan kontinyu intensitas rendah lebih baik. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah agar penelitian ini bisa digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan ataupun penelitian selanjutnya.Kata Kunci : pelatihan sirkuit, kontinyu intesitas rendah, daya tahan kardiovaskuler
This study aimed at finding out the effect of circuit training and continuous low intensity toward the increased of cardiovascular endurance. This research was a kind of experiment research which is designed in the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research was male students in eight grade of SMPN 2 Nusa Penida in academic year of 2013/2014 which amounts to 108 students and this research used 27 samples which was determined by simple random sampling technique. Cardiovascular endurance was measured with Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). The results ofdata analysis showed that there was a change in the average value of the variable cardiovascular endurance. In the circuit training group increased by 3.26ml/kg/min, in the continuous low-intensity training group increased by 5.79ml/kg/min and in the control group there was an increase of 0.47ml/kg/min. The results of the independent t-test cardiovascular endurance obtained t value 2.282 and 4.232 with significance 0.037 and 0.001 which meaning ful training effect on improvement of cardiovascular endurance. The results of One Way Anova test of cardiovascular endurance variables between the treatment and control groups obtained F value of 8.347 with asignificance of 0.002, which means there was a difference between the effect of circuit training and continuous low intensity on cardiovascular endurance. Based on the results of LSD test, then the group of low-intensity continuous training was better influence than circuit training to increased cardiovascular endurance by 2.40000. From the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) the circuit training and continuous low intensity effect on the increase in cardiovascular endurance (2) there were differences in the effect of circuit training and continuous low intensity to increased cardiovascular endurance in which continuous low intensity training was better. Suggestion that can be submitted is the result of this study can be used as a reference for the further study or training.
