PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS DENGAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOGNITIF DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KONSEP BILANGAN TK PADMA KUMARA PEDAWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kognitif dalam pengembangan konsep bilangan melalui penerapan metode pemberian tugas dengan media gambar di kelompok B semester II TK Padma Kumara Pedawa Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa TK Padma Kumara Pedawa Semester II di Kelompok B, pada Tahun Akademik 2012/2013. Data kemampuan konsep kognitif, khususnya pada pengembangan konsep bilangan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dan lembar observasi. Data selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan belajar kognitif pada siklus I sebesar 50,59% yang berada pada kategori rendah ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 80,89% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Ada peningkatan prestasi belajar kognitif sebesar 34,11% setelah menerapkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media gambar. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pemberian tugas dengan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kognitif anak khususnya pada pengembangan konsep bilangan.

Abstract
This research was aimed to determine the cognitive improvement in concept development of number through the application of the of administration tasks method by using media of pictures in group B second semester Padma Kumara Kindergarten Pedawa in academic year 2012/2013. This research was an action research. This research was done in two cycles. The subjects of this study were the students of Padma Kumara Kindergarten Pedawa in group B Semester II 2012/2013. The data of the development about number concept was obtained by using the method of administration tasks and observation instrument. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The Results of data analysis showed that there was an improvement in cognitive learning at the first cycle of 50.59% which was in the low category. There was an improvement in the second cycle 80.89% which is in the high category. The improvement in achievement learning cognitive was 34.11%. It could be concluded that administration taks method by using media of pictures could improve the students’ cognitive at the development of number concept.Key words: method of assignment, numeracy picture media, the concept of numbers.
