IMPLEMENTASI METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN DASAR BERBAHASA DI TK PANJI WIDYA KUMARA PANJI ANOM KECAMATAN SUKASADA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan dasar berbahasa anak kelompok B di TK Panji Widya Kumara Desa Panji Anom, Kecamatan Sukasada, Kabupaten Buleleng Semester II tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 setelah diimplementasikan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 anak TK pada kelompok B semester II tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. data penelitian tentang kemampuan dasar berbahasa anak kelompok B dengan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi, wawancara dan pencatatan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan dasar berbahasa anak kelompok B dengan media gambar pada siklus I sebesar : 60,16% berada pada kategori rendah dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi sebesar 89,50% berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan dasar berbahasa anak dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar sebesar 29,34%.

Abstract
This study aimed at finding the development of students’ competencies in using language in TK Panji Widya Kumara which is located in Panji Anom village, Sukasada district, Buleleng Regency at second semester in the academic year 2012/2013. it was an action based research which was done in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 18 children of B group. This study used observation method. The instruments documenting. The data of this study was analyzed by using quantitative analysis and descriptive statistics analysis. The results of this study show that: (1) the first cycle result was 60.16 which were categorized low; (2) the second cycle result was 89.50 which were categorized high; (3) the difference of the first cycle and the second cycle result was 29.34. Based in the data, it can be concluded that there was a significant difference in students’ competencies in using language through story telling assisted with pictures.
