PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA PAPAN FLANEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF PADA ANAK KELOMPOK A DI PAUD PRADNYA PARAMITA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak pada kelompok A di PAUD Pradnya Paramita Lingkungan Penarungan Kecamatan Buleleng setelah penerapan metode bercerita berbantuan media papan flanel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 17 siswa kelompok A di PAUD Pradnya Paramita tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan kognitif dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pada siklus I sebesar 51,45 % anak yang berada pada kategori kurang aktif, pada siklus II dengan mengajak anak berperan serta dalam menempelkan gambar, warna, dan lambang bilangan, maka 79,04% tergolong pada kategori aktif terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa sebesar 27,95%. Penerapan metode bercerita berbantuan media papan flanel mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak.

Abstract
This research to using know the improvment of cognitive competency of child at group student of A in PAUD Pradnya Paramita Lingkungan Penarungan Kecamatan Buleleng after applying of story telling method to using flannel board media. This research type is research of class action which in executing in two cycle. Research Subyek is 17 group student of A in PAUD Pradnya Paramita school year 2012 / 2013. Research data about cognitive competency of child in collecting to pass/through observation method by utilizing instrument in the form of observation format sheet. Data result of research analysed by using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative statistical analysis method. result of data analysis show at cycle of I equal to 51, 45% child residing in at category less active at cycle of II by inviting child share and also in gluing picture, colour, and number device hence 79, 04% pertained at active category happened the improvment of cognitive competeny of student equal to 27, 95%. Applying of story telling method flannel board media the using can improve cognitive competency of child.
