PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU HURUF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL KONSEP HURUF PADA TK KELOMPOK B TUNAS MULIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep huruf melalui metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu huruf. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah anak didik pada kelompok B TK Tunas Mulia Sambangan Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 27 siswa, dengan jumlah siswa laki-laki sebanyak 12 siswa dan jumlah siswa perempuan sebanyak 15 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi untuk mengumpulkan data kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep huruf dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep huruf. Kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep huruf anak didik pada siklus I dengan persentase klasikal 51% , dan pada siklus II 73% dengan peningkatan sebesar 22%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu huruf terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep huruf pada kelompok B di TK Tunas Mulia Sambangan.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the development of children's ability to recognize the concept of letters through the media-assisted method of assignment letter cards. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis with research subjects were students in group B TK Tunas Mulia Sambangan Academic Year 2012/2013, amounting to 27 students, the male students were 12 students and 15 female students as many students. Data collection in this study was conducted using observation to collect data in the child's ability to know the concept of letters in the learning process. The results showed an increase in children's ability to recognize the concept of letters. Children's ability to recognize the concept of letters students in the first cycle with the classical percentage of 51%, and 73% in the second cycle with an increase of 22%. This indicates that the application of media-assisted method of assignment letter cards is proven to improve children's ability to recognize letters on the concept of group in kindergarten Tunas Mulia Sambangan.
