PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA BONEKA JARI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBAHASA LISAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa lisan pada anak kelompok B1 semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 di TK Ganesa Singaraja setelah diterapkan metode bercerita berbantuan media boneka jari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 orang anak TK Ganesa Singaraja pada kelompok B1 semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan berbahasa lisan dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan berbahasa lisan pada anak kelompok B1 setelah diterapkan metode bercerita berbantuan media boneka jari pada siklus I sebesar 72,1% yang berada pada katagori sedang kemudian pada siklus II menjadi 82,5 tergolong pada katagori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa lisan anak setelah diterapkan metode bercerita berbantuan media boneka jari sebesar 10, 4%.Kata Kunci : Metode Bercerita, Media Boneka Jari, Kemampuan Berbahasa Lisan
This research is aimed to know the development of students’ ability in spoken language of class B1 in the Second Semester in the Academic Year 2013/2014 in Ganesa Kindergarten Singaraja by applying story telling method using finger puppet media. This research was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study are 14 kindergarten students in class B1 in the second semester in the academic year of 2013/2014. The data was collected by using observation method. The instrument used was in form of observation form. The data collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive. Results of the data analysis showed that the average score of students’ spoken language ability of B1 group increased after implementing storytelling method with assist of finger puppet media from 72.1% in the first cycle in which it is categorized as moderate category into 82.5 % in the second cycle in which it is categoried as high category. In conclusion, there is an increase of students’ spoken language ability after implementing storytelling method aided by finger puppet media that is 10.4%. It is categorized as relatively high category.
