PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA DENGAN MEDIA GAMBAR SERI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA LISAN PADA ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan bahasa lisan setelah diterapkan metode bercerita dengan media gambar seri pada anak kelompok B2 semester genap di TK Surapati Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan subjek sebanyak 17 orang anak kelompok B2 semester genap di TK Surapati Singaraja. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan bahasa lisan dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan bahasa lisan pada anak setelah diterapkan metode bercerita dengan media gambar seri. Rata-rata presentase kemampuan bahasa lisan anak pada siklus I sebesar 71,68% yang berada pada kategori sedang mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 80,87% yang tergolong pada kategori tinggi adanya peningkatan sebesar 9%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita dengan media gambar seri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa lisan pada anak kelompok B2 di TK Surapati Singaraja.Kata Kunci : anak usia dini, bahasa lisan, gambar seri, metode bercerita
This research aimed to know the improvement of verbal language ability after applying story telling method assisted by picture serial media to the children at B2 group in Taman Kanak-kanak/TK (Kidergarten) Surapati Singaraja academic year 2014/2015. This research was a classroom action research which is consists of two cycles with subject in this research were 17 childrens at B2 TK Surapati Singaraja. The data about verbal language ability was collected by observation method by utilizing instrument in the form of observation format sheet. The data analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative statistical analysis method. The results of data analysis showed that there are increasing ability in verbal language of children after applying story telling method assisted by picture serial media. Percentage of the average child's verbal language ability in first cycle 71.68% in average category and the second cycle was increased to 80.87 % in high category. So there is 9% of incresing of verbal language ability at the children of B2 group TK Surapati Singaraja.
