Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together berbantuan media kartu angka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 orang anak TK Saiwa Dharma pada kelompok B2 semester genap Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak kelompok B2 setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together berbantuan media kartu angka pada siklus I sebesar 72,3% yang berada pada katagori sedang kemudian pada siklus II menjadi 82,65% tergolong pada katagori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan anak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together berbantuan media kartu angka sebesar 10,35%.

This research is aimed to know the development of students’ ability of recognize numbers by applying Numbered Head Together learning method using the media card numbers. This research was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study are 15 kindergarten students in class B2 in the second semester in the academic year of 2013/2014. The data was collected by using observation method. The instrument used was in form of observation form. The data collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive. Results of the data analysis showed that the average score of students’ knowing the recognize numbers ability of B2 group increased after implementing Numbered Head Together learning method with assist the media card numbers from 72,3% in the first cycle in which it is categorized as moderate category into 82,65% in the second cycle in which it is categoried as high category. In conclusion, there is an increase of students’ recognize numbers ability after implementing Numbered Head Together learning method aided by the media card numbers that is 10,35%. It is categorized as relatively high category.
