PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL BERNUANSA BERMAIN BERBANTUAN MEDIA GEOMETRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B TK ERAWAN JAGAPATI ABIANSEMAL BADUNG TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual bernuansa bermain berbantuan media geometri pada anak kelompok B TK Erawan Jagapati Abiansemal Badung tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Erawan Jagapati Abiansemal Badung tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Data kemampuan kognitif dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan penugasan dengan instrumen lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa persentase perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B pada refleksi awal sebesar 54,72%. Pelaksanaan tindakan yang dilakukan meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif pada siklus I sebesar 65,40% dengan kategori sedang dan meningkat menjadi 90,40% dengan kategori sangat tinggi pada siklus II. Jadi simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual bernuansa bermain berbantuan media geometri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif pada anak kelompok B TK Erawan Jagapati Abiansemal Badung tahun ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Kontekstual bernuansa bermain, media geometri, kemampuan kognitif
The purposes of this research is to know the raising of children’s cognitive ability through implementation of contextual learning method game nuance assisted by geometry media at B Group of Erawan Kindergarten Jagapati Abiansemal Badung academic year 2013/2014. This research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is the children of B Group at Erawan Kindergarten Jagapati Abiansemal Badung academic year 2013/2014. The data of cognitive ability are collected by observation method and by giving assignment with observation sheet instrument. After the data collected then analyzes by descriptive statistic and descriptive quantitative analysis method. The data analyses through comparing the result of cycle I and cycle II. From the data analysis showed that the presentange of B group children cognitive development at the first reflection 54.72%. for the treatment at the first cycle there is a increasing presentage become 65,40% in good category and become 90.40% in the very good category at the last of cycle two. So, it can be conclude that the implementation of contextual learning method game nuance assisted by geometry media can raised children’s cognitive ability at B Group of Erawan Kindergarten Jagapati Abiansemal Badung can increase the cognitive development.
