Abstract

Lemahnya kemampuan membaca pada anak akan memberika dampak buruk bagi anak, baik dari segi mental ataupun prestasi akademik. Keterampilan membaca anak yang rendah berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menciptakan media permainan kartu kata bergambar berbasis power point untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca anak. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian yaitu 4 orang ahli, meliputi 2 ahli materi pembelajaran, dan 2 ahli media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data yaitu statistik deskritif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu penilaian dari ahli isi materi pelajaran diperoleh 1,00 (validitas sangat tinggi), dan ahli media pembelajaran yaitu 1,00 (validitas sangat tinggi). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media permainan kartu kata bergambar berbasis power point layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media permainan kartu kata bergambar berbasis power point dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan keterampilan anak usia dini.
