IMPLEMENTASI METODE DEMONSTRASI BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF KHUSUSNYA MENGENAL BILANGAN DI TK GANESA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal bilangan setelah implementasi metode demonstrasi berbantuan media kartu gambar pada anak TK kelompok B semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015di TK Ganesa Singaraja Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah TK Ganesa Singaraja Kelompok B Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dengan instrument berupa lembar observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada siklus I adalah 59,58 % yang berada pada kategori rendah ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 80,37 % yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif sebesar 20,79 %.Kata Kunci : metode demonstrasi, media kartu gambar, kemampuan kognitif
The present study aimed at finding out the improvement of children's cognitive abilities in recognizing numbers after the implementation of demonstration method assisted by picture card in children kindergarten group B in second semester Academic Year 2014/2015 in Ganesa kindergarten school singaraja, Buleleng district. The type of research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Research subject were students at Ganesa kindergarten school singaraja group B in second semester Academic Year 2014/2015. Observation method was used with instruments in the form of observation sheet. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical analysis of descriptive quantitative.The analysis showed that an increase in cognitive ability in the first cycle was 59.58% which is at the low category and in the second cycle be 80.37% which is at the high category. Thus, there was an increase in cognitive ability at 20.79%.
