Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok A semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah 16 anak kelompok A Semester II. Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan menyimak dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dengan instrument berupa lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan presentase rata-rata pengembangan kemampuan menyimak anak pada siklus I sebesar 65,08% dengan kriteria sedang, menjadi 80,20% dengan kriteria tinggi pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,12%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita berbantuan boneka dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak pada anak kelompok A Semester II. Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja.

This study aimed to develop listening skill of children group A on second semester in academic year 2014/2015 at TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). Subjects of this research were 16 children group A in second semester. Academic year 2014/2015 at TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. The data about listening skill were collected through observation with the instrument such as observation sheet. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical method and quantitatively. The result in this research showed an increase in the average percentage of the development of listening skills of children in the first cycle of 65.08% with moderate criteria, be 80.20% with the high criteria in the second cycle, an increase of 15.12%. Based on the research that has been done can be concluded that the method of storytelling aided puppet can improve listening skills in children in group A Semester II. 2014/2015 academic year in TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja.
