PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PADA ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak kelompok B1 semester II di TK Kumara Stana Gitgit Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam beberapa siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 anak kelompok B1 TK Kumara Stana Gitgit tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Data mengenai kemampuan membaca permulaan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi.Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan setelah penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu bergambar pada siklus I sebesar 66,00% yang berada pada kategori sedang ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 86,66% yang pada katagori tinggi. Jadi, peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak sebesar 20,66%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak.Kata Kunci : Kata-kata kunci : pemberian tugas, gambar, membaca permulaan
This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to read the beginning of the second semester of B1 group of children in kindergarten Kumara Stana Gitgit academic year 2014/2015. The research is classroom action research (PTK) is implemented in several cycles. The subjects were 15 children in group B1 Stana Gitgit Kumara kindergarten school year 2014/2015. Data on the ability to read the beginning of this research is done by using observation method using observasi.Data sheet instruments were analyzed using descriptive statistics and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that an increase in the ability to read the beginning after the application of media-assisted method of administration tasks picture cards on the first cycle of 66.00%, which is in the category had experienced an increase in the second cycle into 86.66% were in the high category. Thus, improved reading skills of children beginning at 20.66%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the method of granting duty-aided picture card media can improve children's reading skills beginning.
