PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR SEDERHANA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENYIMAK PADA ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menyimak pada anak kelompok B1 semester II di TK Dharma Kerti Sanding Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 anak kelompok B1 TK Dharma Kerti tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menyimak setelah penerapan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar sederhana pada siklus I sebesar 66,8% yang berada pada kategori sedang menjadi 82,2% pada siklus II yang ada pada kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menyimak pada anak sebesar 15,4%.Kata Kunci : metode bercerita, gambar, menyimak
The study aimed at finding out the improvement of the learners’ listening skill at Group B1 semester II in 2014/2015 academic year. This is a classroom action research design conducted two different cycles, involving 25 learners in group B1 of TK Dharma Kerti Sanding in 2014/2015. The data were collected by using observation sheet, then analyzed by using descriptive statistic method and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicated that there was an improvement of listening skill after the implementation of simple pictures media supported story telling method at the first cycle for about 66.8% categorized as moderately fair became 82.2% at the second cyclce which was categorized at high position. Accordingly there was an improvement of listening skill about 15.4%.
