PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBANTUAN MEDIA PAPAN FLANNEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif setelah penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media papan flannel pada anak kelompok B2 di TK Mandala Kumara, yang merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B2 Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 di TK Mandala Kumara, sebanyak 21 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan perkembangan kognitif setelah penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media papan flannel pada anak kelompok B2 TK Mandala Kumara sebesar 15,48%. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan rata-rata persentase perkembangan kognitif anak pada siklus I sebesar 70,23% dengan kriteria sedang menjadi sebesar 85,71% pada siklus II yang ada pada kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media papan flannel dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif pada anak kelompok B2 di TK Mandala Kumara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.

This research aims to improve cognitive development after the implementation of learning model “picture and picture” using flannel board as media to students of Group B2 in kindergarten of Mandala Kumara, this research is a class action (PTK) research which conducted in two cycles included planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects were children in group B2 Semester II Academic Year 2015/2016 in kindergarten Mandala Kumara, as many as 21 people. The data were collected by observation method and instrument of collecting the data was observational sheets. Furthermore, the data were analysed using descriptive statistical analysis and descriptive-quantitative method. The results showed that an increase in cognitive development after the implementation of learning model picture and picture-assisted flannel board media to the children of group B2 Kindergarten Mandala Kumara of 15.48%. It could be seen from the increase in the average percentage of cognitive development of children in the first cycle of 70.23% with moderate criteria amounted to 85.71% in the second cycle which was on high criteria. Thus the application of learning models picture and picture-assisted flannel boards media could enhance cognitive development to the children of group B2 in kindergarten Mandala Kumara Academic Year 2015/2016.
