Abstrak

Tim pengabdian masyarakat menyadari bahwa, penanganan atas kasus kekerasan terhadap anak memerlukan adanya kerjasama dari berbagai pihak, baik akademisi, praktisi juga masyarakat. Dari kalangan masyarakat pun saat ini mulai banyak bermunculan konten parenting di sosial media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh persepsi orang tua mengenai pelatihan holistic parenting dan sosial media parenting content terhadap parent self efficacy dan pengaruhnya terhadap pengetahuan orang tua. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan sample sebanyak 87 orang yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mengambil responden di KB/TK Lab UM. Data penelitian ini didapatkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar dalam WhatsApp Group orang tua.  Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, diketehui bahwa, holistik parenting dan social media parenting content mempengaruhi parent self efficacy dan parenting knowledge (H1, H2, H4 dan H5 diterima); demikian juga Parent self efficacy mampu mempengaruhi parenting knowledge (H3 diterima). Adapun Parent Self Eficacy mampu memediasi hubungan holistik parenting dan social media parenting content terhadap parenting knowledge (H6 dan H7 diterima). Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, diharapkan KB/TK Lab UM dapat melakukan pelatiahn terkait parenting untuk memonitoring pengasuhan yang dilakukan orang tua.
