PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE BERBANTUAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS KOMPYANG SUJANA DENPASAR UTARA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Mind mapping dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana Denpasar Utara Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana Denpasar Utara yang berjumlah 372 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 4 Peguyangan berjumlah 43 siswa sebagai kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Mind Mapping dan siswa kelas V SDN 2 Peguyangan berjumlah 40 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dalam bentuk tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa dengan empat jawaban. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 3,666 > ttabel = 2,000 untuk signifikansi 5% dan dk = 81. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H_0 ditolak. Adapun nilai rata-rata Gain Skor kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Mind mapping adalah 0,54, sedangkan pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 0,43. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Mind mapping terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana Kecamatan Denpasara Utara Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : think pair share, mind mapping, kompetensi pengetahuan IPA
The purpose of this research is to know the significant difference of the natural Science competence of a group of students which is taught using cooperative learning type named as Think Pair Share assisted with Mind Mapping through conventional learning in fifth grade students at SD Kompyang Sujana in North Denpasar in 2016/2017 . This type of this researh is quasi experiment research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is all students of fifth grade of SD Kompyang Sujana North Denpasar with total up to 372 students. The samples were taken randomly sampling technique. The sample in this research was the fifth grade students of SDN 4 Peguyangan with total up to 43 students as a group that was taught using cooperative learning type named as Think Pair Share assisted with Mind Mapping through conventional learning and the fifth grade students of SDN 2 Peguyangan with total up to 40 students as group control using conventional learning. The data were collected using a method in the form of standard multiple-choice objective test with four answers. The data that was obtained were analyzed using t-test analysis. The result of the analysis are tcount = 3,666 > ttable = 2,000 for 5% significance and dk = 81. Based on test criteria, there for H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The average score of natural Science competence in the group that was taught using cooperative learning type named as Think Pair Share assisted with Mind Mapping was 0,54, while in the conventional learning group was 0,43. Based on the result of this research, can be concluded that there is an influence of cooperative learning type named as Think Pair Share assisted with Mind Mapping to natural Science competence of fifth grade elementary school student of Kompyang Sujana District of North Denpasar academic year 2016/2017.
