Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Snowball Throwing Berbantuan Lagu Daerah Terhadap Kompetensi Pengetahuan Matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing berbantuan lagu daerah terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan matematika siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian kelompok non-ekuivalen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 344 orang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 78 siswa yaitu 44 siswa kelas IV dari SD Negeri 1 Peguyangan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 34 siswa kelas IV dari SD Negeri 11 Peguyangan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data kompetensi pengetahuan matematika siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan metode tes yang kemudian dianalisis dengan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan matematika kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing berbantuan lagu daerah dan kelompok siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing berbantuan lagu daerah pada kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 4,77 dan dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (dk = 76) diperoleh ttabel = 2,000, sehingga thitung > ttabel (4,77 > 2,000) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol ( = 77,68 > = 63,03). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran koooperatif tipe snowball throwing berbantuan lagu daerah berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan matematika siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.

This study aims to determine of influence of cooperative learning model type snowball throwing assisted on folk songs to competence of mathematics knowledge of fourth grade at elementary school group Letkol Wisnu of North Denpasar District of Academic Year 2016/2017. This study is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent group design. The population in this research is all fourth grade in elementary school group Letkol Wisnu of North Denpasar Academic Year 2016/2017 which totaled 344 students. Selection of the sample of this research used by random sampling. The sample of this research totaled to 78 students, namely 44 students of fourth grader from SD Negeri 1 Peguyangan as experimental group and 34 students of fourth grader from SD 11 Peguyangan as control group. Data of the competence of mathematics knowledge collected to used by test method which then analyzed by t-test. The results showed that there are significant differences of the competence of mathematics knowledge of the student group that learned using cooperative learning model type snowball throwing assisted on folk songs and student group were not learned using cooperative learning model type snowball throwing assisted on folk songs on fourth grade of elementary school group Letkol Wisnu of North Denpasar District of Academic Year 2016/2017. This is evident from analysis using t-test obtained with thitung = 4,77 and significant level 5% (dk = 76) obtained ttabel = 2,000, so thitung > ttabel (4,77 > 2,000) then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. In addition on the average score of experimental group is higher than the average score of control group ( = 77,68 > = 63,03). It can be concluded that cooperative learning model type snowball throwing assisted on folk songs affect to the competence of mathematics knowledge of class fourth grade of elementary school group Letkol Wisnu of North Denpasar District of Academic Year 2016/2017.
