PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK-PAIR-SHARE (TPS) BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU BERGAMBAR TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPS SISWA KELAS V GUGUS LETKOL WISNU

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share berbantuan media kartu bergambar dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V Gugus Letkol Wisnu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu yang berjumlah 335 orang yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 10 Peguyangan berjumlah 41 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share berbantuan media kartu bergambar dan siswa kelas VA SDN 5 Peguyangan berjumlah 38 orang siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dalam bentuk tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa dengan empat pilihan jawaban. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 5,464 > ttabel = 2,000 untuk signifikansi 5% dan dk = 77. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Adapun nilai rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share berbantuan media kartu bergambar adalah 82,24, sedangkan pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 73,44. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share berbantuan media kartu bergambar terhadap penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas V Gugus Letkol Wisnu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.

This research aims to determine the significant differences in the competence of IPS group knowledge of students who are taught by cooperative learning model of type Think-Pair-Share assisted picture cards with groups of students who are taught through conventional learning in V grade students of Gugus Letkol Wisnu, in academic Year 2016/2017. This research type is quasi experiment research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is all of V graders of Gugus Letkol Wisnu, which total 335 people and consisting of 9 class. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the V grade students of SDN 10 Peguyangan amounting to 41 students as the group which is recommended with cooperative learning model of type Think-Pair-Share assisted picture cards and the V grade students of SDN 5 Peguyangan are 38 students as control group with conventional learning. The data collection is done by using the test method in the form of the usual double choice objective test with four answers. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test analysis. The result of data analysis is tvalue = 5,464 > ttable = 2,000 for 5% significance and dk = 77. Based on test criteria, H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The average score of IPS knowledge competence in the group that was studied with cooperative learning model of type Think-Pair-Share assisted picture cards was 82,24, while in the group recommended with conventional learning was 73,44. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that there is influence of cooperative learning model of type Think-Pair-Share assisted picture cards on the competence of IPS knowledge of V grade students of Gugus Letkol Wisnu, Lesson Year 2016/2017.
