PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD GUGUS LETKOL WISNU TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media audio visual terhadap penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan matematika siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu. Sampel diambil dengan teknik Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 11 Peguyangan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas IVB SDN 5 Peguyangan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika dikumpulkan dengan instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika yang diperoleh kelompok eksperimen, yaitu X ̅=80,62 dan rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika yang diperoleh kelompok kontrol, yaitu X ̅=71,35. Setelah diuji menggunakan uji-t , didapat thitung=4,157 dan pada taraf signifikansi 5% (α=0,05) dengan dk=34+31–2 diperoleh ttabel(α=0,05)=2,000. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian thitung =4,157 > ttabel(α=0,05) =2,000, maka Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model problem based learning dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of model problem based learning audio visual aids on the mastery of the competence of knowledge mathematics in the 4th grade students of sd gugus letkol wisnu academic year 2016/2017 this type of research is a trick exsperiment. the design of this research was using "nonequivalent control group design". The population of this study were all fourth grade students of sd Gugus Letkol Wisnu. The sample was taken by Random Sampling technique. Samples in this research were the students of grade 4th SDN 11 Peguyangan as experimental group and students of grade 4thB SDN 5 Peguyangan as control group. The mastery of knowledge competence Mathematics was collected with instruments in the form of multiple choice test. The data were analyzed by t-test. The results showed that the average of mathematical knowledge competence acquired by the experimental group X = 80,62 and the average mastery of mathematical knowledge competence obtained by the control group that is X = 71,35. After tested using the t-test, gained tarithmetic= 4,157 and at a significant level of 5% with dk = 34 + 31-2 obtained ttable (α =0,05) = 2,000. Based on the test criteria tarithmetic = 4,157 > ttable = 2,000. Then Ho was rejected. This, there were significant differences in the mastery of knowledge competence of Mathematics between groups of students who were taught through the model of problem based learning with groups of students who were taught through conventional learning in grade IV students SD Letkol Wisnu academic year 2016/2017. It can be concluded that there was influence of problem based learning model on the mastery of knowledge competence of Mathematics in fourth grade students SD Letkol Wisnu academic year 2016/2017.
