PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI BERBANTUAN MEDIA KONKRET TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI GUGUS YOS SUDARSO DENPASAR SELATAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media konkret terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Yos Sudarso Denpasar Selatan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) dengan rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan kelompok non-ekuivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Yos Sudarso Denpasar Selatan yang berjumlah 301 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VA SD Negeri 12 Sanur yang berjumlah 38 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VB SD Negeri 10 Sanur yang berjumlah 32 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dalam bentuk tes objektif tipe pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan menggunakan uji-t. Berdaskan hasil analis uji-t didapat thitung=6,695 dan ttabel= 2,000 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 68. Oleh karena thitung 6,695 > ttabel 2,000 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media konkret dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Rata-rata kompetensi pengetahuan IPA yang diperoleh antara kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelompok kontrol (80,55>69,67). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media konkret berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Yos Sudarso Denpasar Selatan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.

This research was aimed to determine the effect of inquiry learning model in concrete media aid to science knowledge competence of grade V students of SD Negeri Gugus Yos Sudarso South Denpasar in the academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is a quasi experiment with research design is a non-equivalent group design. The population in this research is all the students of grade V SD Negeri Gugus Yos Sudarso South Denpasar which amounts to 301 people. The sample is determined by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is VA class SD Negeri 12 Sanur which amounts to 38 people as experimental group and VB SD Negeri 10 Sanur class which amounted to 32 people as control group. The data collection is done by using the test method in the form of objective test of normal double choice type. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. Based on the result of t-test analysts obtained t-count = 6.695 and t-table = 2,000 at the significance level of 5% with dk = 68. Therefore t-count 6.695> t-table 2,000 then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be stated that there are significant differences in science knowledge competence between groups of students who are taught through inquiry learning model with concrete media assisted with groups of students who learned through conventional learning. The average knowledge competence of science obtained between experimental group is higher than control group students (80,55> 69,67). So it can be concluded that the instructional model inquiry counseled concrete media influence on science knowledge competence of grade 5 students of SD Negeri Gugus Yos Sudarso Denpasar Selatan Lesson Year 2016/2017.
