PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE COURSE REVIEW HORAY BERBASIS ASESMEN PORTOFOLIO TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS antara siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay berbasis asesmen portofolio dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur yang berjumlah 313 orang siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 84 orang siswa, 42 orang siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Kesiman sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 42 orang siswa kelas V SD Negeri 5 Kesiman sebagai kelas kontrol. Penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS dilakukan dengan metode tes dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,53 sedangkan pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk= 82 diperoleh ttabel sebesar 2,00, karena thitung > ttabel (3,53 > 2,00) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay berbasis asesmen portofolio dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS yang diperoleh kelas eksperimen yaitu 78,79 dan kelas kontrol yaitu 71,17. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay berbasis asesmen portofolio berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur.Kata Kunci : course review horay, asesmen portofolio, kompetensi pengetahuan IPS
This study aimed to determine the significant differences in the mastery of the competence of social science knowledge between the fifth grade students of SDN Gugus Budi Utomo East Denpasar, which is taught by cooperative learning model of the course review horay type based on portfolio assessment and students who are taught by conventional learning model. This research was a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was the elementary students of class V SDN Gugus Budi Utomo East Denpasar, numbered to 313 students. The sample in this study were 84 students, 42 students of class VA SD Negeri 1 Kesiman as the experimental class and 42 students of class V SD negeri 5 Kesiman as the control class. The determination of the experimental class and the control class in this research was using random sampling technique. The data collection of the mastery of social science knowledge competence was done by the test method and the instrument used was multiple choice test. The data which obtained were analyzed by using the t-test. Based on the results of t-test analysis, it was obtained tcount 3.53 meanwhile at 5% significance level and dk = 82 the results of ttable was 2.00, because tcount >ttable (3.53 > 2.00) then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This is proves that there was a significant difference in the mastery of the competence of social science knowledge between students who was taught by cooperative learning model of the course review horay type based on portfolio assessment and the students who were taught by conventional learning. The average value of the mastery of the competence of social science knowledge which was obtained by the experimental class is 78.79 and the control class is 71.17. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of the course review horay type based on portfolio assessment affects the mastery of the competence of social science knowledge of the students in class V SDN Gugus Budi East Denpasar.
