PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) BERBANTUAN MEDIA KONKRET TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media konkret dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan tidak dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media konkret. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan rancangan non-equivalent post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus IV Cempaka Putih Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan uji-t independent. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA kelompok eksperimen lebih besar dari kelompok kontrol yaitu 18,04>15,23. Hasil perhitungan uji-t independent diperoleh thitung = 2,533 dan ttabel = 2,0 (thitung > ttabel) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media konkret berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA.

This study was aimed to identify the science’s learning outcome between the groups of students who learnt by using Think Pair Share learning model with concrete media and a groups of students who did not learnt by using Think Pair Share learning model with concrete media. This was an experimental study which was designed in non-equivalent post test only control group design. The population of the study was all of the fifth grade in Cluster IV Cempaka Kubutambahan Sub-District Buleleng District in the Academic Year 2016/2017. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. The obtained data were analyzed with descriptive statistcs and independent t-test. The result shows that science’s learning outcome was higher than the average of controlling group learning outcome that was 18,04>15,23. The result of t-test shows that tcount = 2,533 and ttable = 2,0 (tcount > ttable) with a significance level of 5%. The result shows that Think Pair Share learning model with concrete media affects science’s learning outcome.
