PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN WORD SQUARE BERBANTUAN MEDIA VIDEO TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelompok eksperimen yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelompok kontrol yang dibelajarkan dengan bukan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video, dan (3) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video dan siswa yang belajar dengan bukan menggunakan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video pada siswa kelas V di SD Gugus VI Kecamatan Tegallalang, Kabupaten Gianyar tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di gugus VI Kecamatan Tegallalang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 87 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Keliki yang berjumlah 35 orang dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tegallalang yang berjumlah 31 orang. Data hasil belajar IPS siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa thit(6,1) > ttab(2,04), sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video dan siswa yang belajar dengan tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video. Dari rata-rata hitung, diketahui bahwa rata-rata eksperimen(33,23) > rata-rata kontrol(27,71), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media video berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V di Gugus VI Kecamatan Tegallalang.Kata Kunci : word square, media video, hasil belajar IPS
The aims of this research is to (1) describe the learned result of social science of experimental group students who are taught by used word square learning model supported by videos media, (2) to describe the learned result of social science of control group that is learned by non-instructional word square learning model supported by videos media, and (3) To know the difference of learned result of social science between students who are learning with word-learning model supported by videos media and students who learn by not use instructional model word square learn model supported by videos media in Five Grade students at Primary Schools Cluster IV Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency Academic Year 2016/2017. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this studied is all students of class Five in Cluster Six Tegallalang District Academic Year 2016/2017 which amounted to 87 people. The sample of this research is the students of class five primary school of 2 Keliki which amounted to 35 people and students of class five primary school of 2 Tegallalang which amounted to 31 people. Student learned result data were collected with multiple choice test instruments. The data collected were analyzed use by descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). Based on the result of data analysis, it is found that tcount (6,1)> ttab (2.04), so it can be interpreted that there are significant difference of learned result of Social Science between student which is taught by word square learn model supported by videos media and student studying with using learn by non-instructional word square learning model supported by videos media. From the average count, it is known that average of experiments(33.23) > average of control(27,71), so it can be concluded that the application of learning by word square learning model supported by videos media influence on learning result of social science student of Five class in Cluster Six Tegallalang District.
