PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE BERBASIS OUTDOOR STUDY TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TPS berbasis Outdoor Study dengan yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sumerta Denpasar Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian non ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN 1 Sumerta Denpasar Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 102 orang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik sampel kelompok. Untuk menyetarakan kelompok sampel digunakan teknik matching. Setelah melakukan uji kesetaraan ditentukan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan dilakukan pengundian didapatkan siswa kelas VC SD Negeri 1 Sumerta berjumlah 32 orang siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Sumerta berjumlah 32 orang siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes jenis objektif bentuk pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thit = 3,74 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk = 62 diperoleh nilai ttab = 2,00, thit = 3,74 > ttab = 2,00. Perhitungan nilai rata-rata siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TPS berbasis Outdoor Study ( = 88,18) > dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional ( = 79,69). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TPS berbasis Outdoor Study berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sumerta Kecamatan Denpasar Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : Think Pair Share, Outdoor Study, Kompetensi Pengetahuan IPA.
This study aimed to determine the significant difference of science knowledge competence between students who are taught using cooperative learning model of TPS based on Outdoor Study with conventionally learned in grade V student SDN 1 Sumerta Denpasar Timur Lesson Year 2016/2017. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent research design. The population of this study were all students of class V in SDN 1 Sumerta Denpasar Timur Lesson Year 2016/2017 amounted to 102 people. Determination of sample in this research is done by group sample technique. To match the sample group used matching technique. After conducting the equality test, the experimental group and control group were selected by the students. The result was the students of VCD SD Negeri 1 Sumerta class of 32 students as the experimental group and the students of VA SD Negeri 1 Sumerta class were 32 students as the control group. Data collection method in this research was test method. Data collected by instruments in the form of objective test (Multiple Choice Test). The collected data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis method (t-test). Based on result of data analysis, obtained tarithmetic = 3,74 with significance level 5% and dk = 62 obtained value ttable = 2,00, so tarithmetic = 3,74> ttable = 2,00. The calculation of the average score of students who follow the learning using cooperative learning model TPS-based Outdoor Study (= 88.18)> with students who conventionally learned (= 79.69). Thus, the conclusion of this research is the implementation of cooperative learning model of TPS based on Outdoor Study has an effect on science knowledge competence of grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Sumerta Kecamatan Denpasar Timur Lesson Year 2016/2017.
