PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING BERBANTUAN BONEKA TANGAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS V

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berbicara antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran sosial tipe role playing berbantuan media boneka tangan dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V di SD Gugus I Kecamatan Kubutambahan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SD Gugus I Kecamatan Kubutambahan yang berjulah 95 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 8 Kubutambahan dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Bukti. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar penilaian unjuk kerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berbicara antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran sosial tipe role playing berbantuan media boneka tangan dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 6,75 dan ttab sebesar 2,02. Artinya, thitung lebih besar dari ttab. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran sosial tipe role playing berbantuan media boneka tangan berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran role playing, keterampilan berbicara, boneka tangan
The purpose of this research was to know the defference between the speaking skill of students that was taught using social learning model of role playing assisted by puppets and those who were taught with convensional learning model at fifth grade Elementary School of Gugus I Kubutambahan sub-district in academic year of 2016/2017. This research was a quasi experimental within a post test only control group design. The total of population in this research was 95 students. The sample of this research were SDN 8 Kubutambahan and SDN 2 Bukti. In collecting the data, the writter used an assessment of performance. The data were analysed using a descriptive statistic and inferencial statistic. The results show that the defference between the speaking skill of students that was taught using social learning model of role playing assisted by puppets and those who were taught with convensional learning model within 6,75 score of t-count and 2,02 score of t-tab. It meant that t-count is bigger than t-tab. Besed on the result of this research it can be concluded that role playing learning model assisted by puppets influence of students’ speaking skills
