Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Berbasis Lingkungan Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Pada Siswa Kelas V Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring

Abstrak Rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring Kabupaten Gianyar merupakan suatu permasalahan yang memerlukan solusi dari faktor penyebab permasalahan yang ditemukan. Pada observasi awal ditemukan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa berada pada rentang skor 40-64 sehingga masih ada pada kategori rendah. Rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa diduga dikarenakan oleh strategi dan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan terlalu berpusat kepada guru, sehingga siswa kurang aktif dan kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi pasif. Dari permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mencoba mengeksperimenkan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis lingkunganyang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring, Kabupaten Gianyar tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 7 kelas dengan siswa 224 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas V SD N 3 Tampaksiring dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang dan kelas V SD N 6 Tampaksiring dengan jumlah siswa 38 orang, yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode tes yaitu tes objektif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dalam dua tahap, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 9.86 dan ttab sebesar 2,00. Ini berarti, thitung lebih besar dari ttab. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat diksimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring.Kata Kunci : discovery learning berbasis lingkungan
Abstcak The low learning outcomes of science students of grade V at SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring Kabupaten Gianyar is a problem that requires a solution of the factors that cause the problems found. In the early observation it was found that the average of students' science learning outcomes was in the range of score 40-64 so it still exist in low category. The low learning outcomes of student science are thought to be due to the strategy and the applied learning model is too centered on the teacher, so the students are less active and the learning activities become passive. From this problem, this research tries to experiment with learning environmentally based discovery learning model to know the significant effect of environment-based discovery learning model on science learning outcomes in grade V students in the even semester of academic year 2016/2017 at SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring. This research is a quasi experiment with post test only control group design. The population of this research is class V at SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring, Kabupaten Gianyar year 2016/2017 class of 7 classes with 224 students. The sample of this research is class V SD N 3 Tampaksiring with 40 students and grade V SD N 6 Tampaksiring with 38 students, determined by random sampling technique. This research data collected by test method that is objective test. The data obtained were analyzed in two stages, namely descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that the tcount of 9.86 and ttab of 2.00. This means, tcount is greater than ttab. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of learning model of environment-based discovery learning on science learning outcomes in grade V students in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017 at SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tampaksiring.
