PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERMUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning bermuatan Pendidikan Karakter terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Non-ekuivalen. Seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung yang berjumlah 211 siswa dijadikan populasi penelitian. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik sampel kelompok dan disetarakan dengan teknik matching, sehingga diperoleh kelas V SD No. 5 Darmasaba sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas V SD No. 6 Darmasaba sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing kelompok sebanyak 31 siswa. Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan metode tes, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh thitung = 3,937, sedangkan dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk = 31+31-2=60 diperoleh ttabel = 2,000, sehingga t_hitung = 3,937 > t_(tabel(α=0,05,60))= 2,000, maka H0 ditolak. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Demikian pula rerata hasil belajar IPA kelompok eksperimen X ̅=80,23 > X ̅=70,82 rerata hasil belajar IPA kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji t dan perbedaan rerata kedua kelompok, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning bermuatan Pendidikan Karakter berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.

This study aims to know the effect of Problem Based Learning Model Contains Character Education towards science learning outcomes grade 5th grade students of Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung academic year 2016/2017. This study was an experiment which used quasy experiment design - The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. All of grade 5th students of Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung which the number of the students were 211 were being the population. The sample of this study is determined by group sampling technique and used matching to make the student equivalent, so that obtained the student of 5th grade SD Number. 5 Darmasaba as the experiment group and the student of 5th grade SD Number 6 Darmasaba as the control group which each group fill by 31 students. Data of Science learning outcomes were collected by test methods, and then analyzed using t-test. By analyzing the data, it was found that tcount = 3,937 and with 5% of significance level and dk = 31 + 31 – 2 = 60, it was found that ttable = 2,000, so tcount = 3,937 > ttable = 2,000, then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. That means there is a significant difference of Science outcomes experiment group and control group in fifth grade of Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung academic year 2016/2017. As well as the average value of experiment group X ̅=80,23 > X ̅=70,82 the average value of control group. Then, based on t test and the difference of average value of both group, it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning Model Contains Character Education indeed affects the Science learning outcomes grade 5th students of Gugus IX Abiansemal Badung academic year 2016/2017.
