PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT)TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dan kelompok siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Gerokgak Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Non-Equivalent Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD N di Gugus IV Kecamatan Gerokgak. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik random sampling dan sampelnya adalah SD N 1 Gerokgak dan SD N 4 Gerokgak. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dan kelompok siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dengan perhitung thitung = 3,803 > ttabel = 2,021. Rata-rata skor hasil belajar IPA kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT adalah 20 lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT yaitu 16. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran TGT berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas V SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Gerokgak.Kata Kunci : Teams Games Tournament, hasil belajar IPA
This study aims at investigating the differences of learning achievement in science study between groups of students who were taught by using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and groups of students who were not taught by using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in the fifth grade of elementary school students in Gugus IV KecamatanGerokgak Lesson Year 2016/2017. This research is a quasi-experiment research with Non-Equivalent Post-Test Design Only Control Group Design research. Population in this research is student of class V SD N in Gugus IV District Gerokgak.The sample was taken by random sampling technique and the samples were SD N 1 Gerokgak and SD N 4 Gerokgak. The data collection techniques used a multiple choice test.Data were analyzed by using t-test. Result of research indicate that there are difference of science learning result between group of student which is taught by using TGT learning model and group of student which not taught by using TGT learning model with t count = 3,803>ttabel = 2,021.The average score of science learning outcomes of the group of students who were taught using the TGT learning model was 20 higher than the group of students who were not learned by using the TGT learning model that is 16. By doing so TGT learning model has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade in elementary school Gugus IV Kecamatan Gerokgak.
