PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan “post-test only control group design” dengan analisis data uji-t. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu siswa yang ada di Gugus XV Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sejumlah 224 siswa. Sampel Diambil menggunakan teknil random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan perhitungan thitung = 45,65 > ttabel = 2,021 dengan signifikasi < 0,05. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih tinggi daripada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional 31,58 > 24,96. Hal ini menunjukkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA.

This study aims to determine the difference between IPA learning outcomes between groups of students who were taught using a problem based learning model with a group of students who were taught using instructional model of konvensional. The study design used "post-test only control group design" with t-test data analysis. The population of this study are students in Gugus XV District Buleleng 2016/2017 lessons a number of 224 students. Sample Taken using teknil random sampling. The results showed that there was a significant difference of science learning outcomes between groups of students who were studied with problem based learning model and groups of students who were learned by using konvensional model with thitung = 45,65 > ttabel = 2,021 with signifikasion < 0,05. The average learning outcomes of the students group that were taught by problem based learning model was higher than the group of students who were taught by konvensional model 31,58 > 24,96. This shows the instructional model of problem based learning has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes.
