This research aimed at finding effect of science learhing outcome using guided inquiry learning model after and before controlling achievement motivation students. This research is kind of classified as quasi experiment with the design of the post-test only control group design. The population of the research were the fifth grade students in Cluster II in Sukasada sub-district, Buleleng district with 182 students that choice with random sampling technique. The instrument of this research is learning result test with multiple choice and data were analysed using descriptive statistic, T-Test, anacova one lane one covariates and with achievement motivation questionnaire. The analysis showed the science learning result the group of student who studied withguided inquiry learning model (21,37) higher than science learning result students who studied with not using guided inquiry learning model (15,78).The result of the research showed significance effect of guided inquiry learning model toward science learnig result before controlling achievement motivation (thitung= 4,637 with significance = 0,000<0,05) and after controlling achievement motivation (Fhitung = 28,504 withsignificance = 0,000<0,05).
