PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Untung Surapati Denpasar Timur Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW berbasis masalah dan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 540 orang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 6 Sumerta dengan jumlah 39 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV SDN 9 Sumerta dengan jumlah 37 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dalam bentuk tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) nilai thitung = 2,223 > ttabel = 2,000 yang mengindikasikan bahwa ho ditolak dan Ha diterima; 2) nilai rata-rata kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbasis masalah adalah 78,50, sedangkan pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 74,33. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa.Kata Kunci : Think Talk Write, masalah, kompetensi pengetahuan IPA
This study aimed at determining the difference of Science knowledge competence of grade 4th Untung Surapati Clusters Elementary Students in Denpasar Timur in 2016/2017 academic year between the students who are taught by Problem-based Think-Talk-Write (TTW) Cooperative Learning Model and are taught by Conventional Learning Model. This study used quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of research was 540 students and research sample was selected by random sampling technique. The samples were 39 students of grade 4th SDN 6 Sumerta as the experimental group and 37 students of grade 4th SDN 9 Sumerta as the control group. The data were collected by the test method specifically the standard multiple-choice objective test. The analysis data was done through t-test. The analysis data showed these following results. 1) The value of tanalysis = 2,223 > ttable = 2,000 which means ho is neglected and ha is accepted. 2) The students who were taught by Conventional Learning Model gain average score of 74,33, while the students who were taught by Problem-based Think-Talk-Write (TTW) Cooperative Learning Model gain average score of 78,50. The results indicate that Problem-based Think-Talk-Write (TTW) Cooperative Learning Model affects Science knowledge competence of students.
