PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD GUGUSUNTUNG SURAPATI DENPASAR TIMUR TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Talking Stick dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV Negeri SD Gugus Untung Surapati Denpasar Timur Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non-equivalen control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri di Gugus Untung Surapati yang terdiri dari 229 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 71 siswa , 37 siswa kelas IV SDN 7 Sumerta sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan sebanyak 34 siswa kelas IV SDN 14 Dangin Puri sebagai kelas kontrol. Penentuan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dilakukan dengan metode tes dan instrument yang digunakan adalah berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol (84,02 > 73,97). Berdasarkan analisis uji t dengan derajat kebebasan (dk = 37 + 34 -2 = 69) dan pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh t hitung > t tabel (5,67 > 2,00) maka H0 ditolak, hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran talking stick dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Untung Surapati Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran talking stick, kompetensi, pengetahuan, IPA
This study aims to determine the significant effect of mastery of science knowledge competence between groups of students who were taught by Cooperative Learning Model Talking Stick type with students who were taught through conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Gugus Untung Surapati Denpasar Timur of academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent design group design. The population of this research is all the fourth grade students of SD Negeri in Untung Surapati Cluster consisting of 229 students. The sample in this research are 71 students, 37 students of grade IV SDN 7 Sumerta as experiment group and as many as 34 students of grade IV SDN 14 Dangin Puri as control class. Determination of experimental group and control group using random sampling technique. Collecting data on the mastery of science knowledge competence is done by test method and the instrument used is in the form of ordinary double choice objective test. The data were analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that the average experiment group was higher than the control group average score (84.02> 73.97). Based on t test analysis with degrees of freedom (dk = 37 + 34 -2 = 69) and at 5% significance level obtained t count> t table (5.67> 2.00) then H0 rejected, this means there is a significant difference Science knowledge competence of group of students which is learned through talking stick teaching model and group of students which is taught through conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Untung Surapati School Year of Teaching Year 2016/2017.
