PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VALUE CLARIFICATION TECHNIQUE (VCT) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PKN SISWA KELAS V DI SD GUGUS IV KECAMATAN SUKASADA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar PKn antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dan menggunakan desain non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 di SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Sukasada yang berjumlah 164 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Sukasada yang berjumlah 33 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sukasada yang berjumlah 29 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar PKn siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji–t polled varians). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh rata–rata hasil belajar PKn kelompok eksperimen adalah 23,77, sedangkan dari rata–rata hasil belajar PKn kelompok kontrol yaitu 16,67. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh thitung = 68,54 lebih besar daripada ttabel (pada taraf signifikansi 5%) = 2,000, sehingga hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar PKn antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

This research aimed at knowing the differences of result in studying Pkn (civic) between students who were taught by using conventional technique and students who were taught by using value clarification technique. This was a quasi- experimental research. The design of this research was non-equivalent posy-test only control group design. The population of this research were all of students at the fifth grade in second semester of SD Cluster IV in Sukasada subdistrict in academic year 2017/2018 and were amounted 164 students. The sample of this research were 29 students of the fifth grade of SDN 2 Sukasada as control group and 33 students of the fifth grade of SDN 3 Sukasada as experimental group. Data of the result in studying civic were collected by using test instrument in form of subjective test. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis and inferential statistic (t-test polled varians). Based on the result, it was gotten the mean of the result in studying civic for experimental group was 23,77, whereas the mean of control group was 16,67. from the result, it was gotten result of th = 68.54. it was bigger than tt (in significant level 5%) = 2.000, in conclusion, this result showed that there was significant difference on the result of studying civic between students who were taught by using value clarification technique and students who were taught by using conventional technique.
