PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA VISUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS III KECAMATAN TABANAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media visual dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional di SD Gugus III Kecamatan Tabanan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen (eksperimen semu) dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Gugus III Kecamatan Tabanan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 142 orang. Cara menentukan sampel yaitu dengan sampling purposive. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes. Metode tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil belajar IPA siswa. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji prasyarat analisis. Analisis statistik deskriptif yaitu menghitung mean, standar deviasi dan varians. Sedangkan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas sebaran data dan homogenitas varians. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media visual memiliki mean =81.1 termasuk dalam kategori baik, (2) hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional memiliki mean = 66.1 termasuk dalam kategori cukup, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media visual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (thitung = 115.77 > ttabel = 2,000). Siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual bebantuan media visual menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media visual memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan kontekstual,media visual, hasil belajar
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the difference of science learning result of students who were taught using contextual teaching approaches assisted visual media with students who were taught using conventional learning in SD Gugus III Kecamatan Tabanan. This research type is quasi experiment (quasi experiment) with design of Nonequivalent control group design. Population in this research is all student of class V in SD Gugus III Sub District Tabanan Lesson Year 2016/2017 which amounted to 142 people. How to determine the sample is by purposive sampling. Data collection in this research is done by test method. The test method is used to collect data of students' science learning outcomes. Data analysis methods used are descriptive statistical analysis and prerequisite analysis test. Descriptive statistical analysis ie calculate mean, standard deviation and variance. While the prerequisite analysis test is the normality test of data distribution and homogeneity of variance. The result of the research shows that (1) the learning result of science students who follow the contextual visual assisted learning approach have mean = 81.1 included in the good category, (2) the learning result of students who follow the conventional learning have mean = 66.1 included in enough category, (3 ) There is a significant difference of science learning result between students who follow contextual teaching-assisted teaching approach with students who follow conventional learning (t count = 115.77> t table = 2,000). Students who learn to use contextual learning approaches with visual media show higher learning result than students learning to use conventional learning. So that contextual teaching approaches assisted visual media give influence to science learning result of class V student.
