PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Pangkungparuk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas IVA SD N 1 Pangkungparuk yang berjumlah 23 orang dan siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 1 Pangkungparuk yang berjumlah 21 orang. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes objektif. Data dinalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, dengan t = 2,06 dan signifikan < 0,05. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPA ekperimen adalah 15,30 lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar IPA kontrol sebesar 12,67. Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci : think pair share, hasil belajar IPA
This study aims to determine the difference of science learning outcomes between students who follow the learning with cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type and students who follow the learning with conventional learning in fourth grade students SD Negeri 1 Pangkungparuk. This type of research is quasi experimental research. Population and sample of this research is class IVA SD N 1 Pangkungparuk which amounted to 23 people and student grade IVB SD Negeri 1 Pangkungparuk which amounted to 21 people. Learning result data is collected by using objective test. Data were analyzed using t-test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences of science learning outcomes between students who were taught by using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type and students who were taught by using conventional learning, with t = 2.06 and significant <0.05. The average of experimental science learning outcomes was 15.30 more than the average of control of 12.67. The existence of significant differences indicate that learning model of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share effect on science learning outcomes of students compared with conventional learning.
