PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER BERBANTUAN MEDIA POWERPOINT TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPS KELAS IV SD NEGERI GUGUS TUANKU IMAM BONJOL DENPASAR BARAT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pengetahuan IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together berbantuan media powerpoint dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (nonequivalent kontrol group design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Gugus Tuanku Imam Bonjol Denpasar Barat tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 334 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IVA SD Negeri 7 Dauh Puri sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IVB SD Negeri 2 Pemecutan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data kompetensi pengetahuan IPS dikumpulkan dengan isntrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda biasa. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together berbantuan media powerpoint dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Tuanku Imam Bonjol Denpasar Barat tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung = 4,3288 > ttabel 2,00 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = n1 + n2 – 2 = (40+40-2) = 78. Demikian pula rerata kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelompok eksperimen X = 80 > X = 74 rerata kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together berbantuan media powerpoint berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Tuanku Imam Bonjol Denpasar Barat tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : Numbered Heads Together, media PowerPoint, kompetensi pengetahuan IPS
This research aims to determine the differences in the competence of social studies knowledge between groups of students who were taught using cooperative learning model type numbered heads together with powerpoint media and group of students who were taught using conventional learning model. This research is a quasi experiment research with the research design used is Nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is the fourth grader of the SD Negeri in Tuanku Imam Bonjol West Denpasar in the academic 2016/2017 year as many as 334 students. Samples were taken using random sampling. The sample in this research is class IVA SD Negeri 7 Dauh Puri as experiment group and class IVB SD Negeri 2 Pemecutan as control group. Social studies knowledge competence data is collected with instruments in the form of regular multiple choice test. Then the data is analyzed by t-test. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant difference of social studies knowledge competence between groups of students who are taught using cooperative learning model of numbered heads together with powerpoint media and group of students who are taught using conventional learning model of fourth grade students of Tuanku Imam Bonjol Denpasar West Denpasar in the academic 2016/2017 year. It can be proven with the result t count = 4,3288 > ttable 2,000 in the degree of significance 5% with dk = n1 + n2 – 2 = (40+40-2) = 78. Similarly, the average competence of IPS knowledge of students in the experimental group X= 80 > X =74 mean of social studies knowledge competence of students control group. Thus it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type numbered heads together with powerpoint media influence on the social studies knowledge competence of students of fourth grade SD Negeri Tuanku Imam Bonjol Denpasar West Denpasar in the academic year 2016/2017.
